My Process
I will arrive at your home at a pre-determined time that is agreed upon by both parties. If I am going to be late, by more than 15 minutes, I will call you with an estimated time of arrival. At that time, you will be given the option to allow me to continue on to your appointment or to reschedule. I wear a photo identification tag, a shirt with the company logo and provide you with a magnetic business card.
Upon entering your home, I first assess the fireplace area to be cleaned. I use drop cloths to protect your carpet or flooring, as well as to place my equipment on. I clean with the most up-to-date equipment and use a vacuum that has a Hepa filtering system. I do a visual inspection from the floor of the fireplace to the top of the chimney stack. Video scanning of the inner chimney liner is recommended. My experience has shown that in some cases chimney systems may have hidden damage that cannot be seen by a visual inspection only. A written inspection report is given with a verbal explanation of the report.
